PRO-DAY presents 2011 Prep Gear 2nd Team All-Americans

Catcher – LAWRENCE BAKER - The 6-1, 160 lb, senior from Pine Bluff, AR is 1.95 and is on the money on his throws to second-base from behind the plate. He is a sound hitter with good mechanics. He plays the game hard & has great work habits.
1st Base – ANDREW CHESTER - The 6-1, 186 lb, senior from Mt. Juliet, TN can handle the first-base position and shows strength at the plate. Andrew has a strong arm and also pitches (84/71). He scored a 24 on his ACT.

2nd Base – JAQUAN THOMAS - The 5-8, 158 lb. infielder out of Tortola, British Virgin Islands has very good hands and footwork. The switch-hitter shows more power from the right side with good bat speed. Jaquan ran a 7.2 in the 60-yard dash.
Shortstop – CAMILO GODOY - The 6-0. 165 lb. senior middle-infielder will have a lot of options with his 30 ACT Score. On the baseball field, he is pretty good also. He has good hands, footwork and has a good swing. Camilo is definitely a base threat with his 6.89 speed.
3rd Base – STEPHEN KIRKLAND - The 6-0. 190 lb. sophomore from Cairo, GA was one of the better 2013 grads. He has strength and power at plate. He can play the outfield and pitch. He is 83/70 on the hill. He has a chance to be pretty good time he graduates.
Left Field – CODY ROBINSON - This 5-11, 170 lb. senior from Montgomery, AL has to be in the lineup somewhere due to his bat. The left-handed hitting catcher (2.09) shows good balance, bat speed and pop at the plate. Cody scored a 25 on his ACT.
Center Field – TJ NOLAN - This 5-9, 165 lb., junior outfielder from Rockford, IL has good range in the outfield along at the shortstop position. At the plate, TJ showed good balance, speed & strength. He has an above average arm with good hands & footwork.
Right Field – JUSTIN HATHCOCK - The 6-0, 205 lb., outfielder/third-baseman out of Fairhope, AL has the tools to play at the next level. He will be part of a really good 2012 class, Justin showed great hands at both positions and with arm strength. He has quick hands & power to go deep. Justin runs a 7.35 in the 60.
Utility – BRADLEY MELTON - A 6-2, 205 lb, senior from Counce, TN can play third-base and also catch. He has a real quick release and is very accurate at both positions. Behind the plate, he has a pop-time of 2.03 with room to improve. Hitting - he has power, strength & balance.
Designated Hitter – JORDAN SEIFERT - The 5-11, 185 lb. junior from Houston, TX was one of the finalist in the Powerade HR Derby. He has strength & does have the ability to hit the long ball. At the hot corner, he showed good hands and a very accurate arm.
Pitcher – ZACHARY WATSON - The Floridian junior right-hander was 86/76 off the mound. The 6-0, 185 lb, pitcher/first-baseman is from Century, FL. He plays a good first-base and hits with power. He hasn't reached his complete potential yet.
Pitcher – QUINTON WEST - A 6-2, 180 lb., right-hander out of Poplar Bluff, MO was 84/72 at PRO-DAY. Quinton showed good control & ability to hit his spots during the National Showcase games. On his ACT, he scored a 23.
Pitcher – AUSTIN RICE - The 6-2, 175 lb. junior from Waynesboro, TN has a 86 mph fastball and throws a breaking ball at 71. He can play multiple positions on the field, although his ticket looks like to be off the mound for the 2012 grad.
Pitcher – ROSS MOSLEY - The 6-1, 210 lb. senior from Daphane, AL was 84/72 at the National Showcase in Orange Beach. The right-hander showed good control. When not pitching, Ross handles third-base. He has good hands and hits with power.
