Blake was selected as a First Team PRO-DAY "PREP GEAR" High School All-America for 2009.
The 6-3/190 outfielder/pitcher showed a very strong arm from his rightfield position at the "Best of the Best" National Showcase in November and once again at the All-American Showcase where he graded out an "8" on a 8-point grading system.
At the plate, Blake has a long swing with very good bat speed. He received an "8" in hitting and was a finalist in the Powerade Home Run Derby Contest while blasting out 23 home runs in his three rounds of competition.
