The PRO-DAY "North/South/East/West" National Team Showcase will be held at USA Stadium in Millington (TN) on August 1-3, announced Jeff Gross, CEO of PRO-DAY Baseball.
PRO-DAY who operates high school showcases in over 15-states will bring in the top players from their events during the year to USA Stadium. The players will go thru professional workouts and be coached by college coaches and professional scouts in games during the three-day event.
"We are very excited to bring this National Showcase to a central location and I could not think of a better place than USA Stadium in Millington", said Gross. "It's just a beautiful baseball stadium with alot of history from many great players and coaches who have been there in the past.
"Then you have a great guy like John Daigle along with his USA Staff who make it very special for all the players and fans in attendance. It's a great place to host a National Event of this kind and we cannot wait for August to get here," added Gross.
USA Stadium is the former home of the "USA Oylmpic Baseball Training Site". Many great players have played or coached there with names like: Alex Rodriguez, JD Drew, Nomar Garciaparra and Frank Thomas on the Major League Level.
Hall-of-Famers such as Bob Feller, Stan Musial, Robin Roberts and Mike Schmidt all have been apart of USA Stadium along with Hall-of-Fame Collegiate Coaches Mike Martin, Ron Fraser, Ron Polk and Skip Bertman to name a few.
